Week Of Prayer

August 2nd - August 8th

The Power Of Prayer

If you sense God has more for your life, our Week Of Prayer is a great place to start believing Him for all that He has for you. As you practice seeking Him first, He will move on your behalf like
never before. You will start to see the power of prayer impact your relationships, work, family, and every area of your life.

We're joining together...

Join us as we set aside August 2 through August 8 for a special Week of Prayer centered on our mission: Save the Lost, Disciple the Saved, Send the Discipled. Throughout the week, we'll spend intentional time seeking God's heart for our church, our community, and the people He has called us to reach. Each day will feature a focused prayer theme, a Scripture devotion, and practical ways to pray as we align ourselves with the Great Commission. Whether you're joining us during our prayer gatherings or praying from home, we invite you to make this week a priority. Together, let's pray for the lost to encounter Jesus, for believers to grow as devoted disciples, and for every member of our church to boldly live out their calling to be sent into the world. As we seek the Lord together, may He renew our passion for His mission, unite us in purpose, and prepare us for all He desires to accomplish through Lomax Assembly. Let's begin this season expecting God to move in powerful ways as we faithfully pray, trust, and follow Him.

FASTING

Want to know more about Fasting?

The goal of fasting is to draw nearer to God. Biblical fasting always has to do with eliminating distractions for a spiritual purpose; it hits the reset button of our soul and renews us from the inside out. It also enables us to celebrate the goodness and mercy of God and prepares our hearts for all the good things God desires to bring into our lives. Remember, your personal fast should present a level of challenge, but it is very important to know your body, your options, and, most importantly, to seek God in prayer and follow what the Holy Spirit leads you to do.
