week of prayer

January 2nd - January 8th

The Power Of Prayer

If you sense God has more for your life, our Week Of Prayer  is a great place to start believing Him for all that He has for you. As you practice seeking Him first, He will move on your behalf like never before. You will start to see the power of prayer impact your relationships, work, family, and every area of your life.

We're joining together...

There is power when we pray. There's also power when we join together and pray. We want to take our church through a journey as we launch 2022 with our Week of Prayer!  Each day, we will focus on one topic and read a scripture verse that supports it. Our church will be open  every morning at 6:00am and evening at 6:00pm (Wednesday at 7:00pm) for times of prayer.  Join us for our Week of Prayer January 2nd - 8th!
Day 1: The Supreme Jesus
Because Jesus is supreme, reigning over all
creation, may every part of my life be wholly
submitted to Him.

Scripture: Philippians 2:9-11

Day 2: The Awesome Jesus
Because Jesus is awesome, I say, "Lord, capture
my attention, so that I may spend all my days in
astonished awe of You!"

Scripture: John 5:20

Day 3: The Beautiful Jesus
Because Jesus is beautiful, I reflect on how His
beauty is seen in creation and in specific ways in
my life.

Scripture:  Psalm 27:4

Day 4: The Human Jesus
Because Jesus took on human form, I realize how
deeply I am able to trust Him. He truly knows,
understands, and sympathizes with my humanness.

Scripture: Hebrews 4:15

Day 5: The Divine Jesus
Because Jesus is divine, I recognize that He is fully
God and Lord of all. I invite You, Jesus, to be
entirely divine in my own life today.

Scripture: John 1:1-5

Day 6: The Preeminent Jesus
Because Jesus is preeminent, He is above all
things and reigns over everything. Lord Jesus, be
first in all I think and do!

Scripture: Colossians 1:15-17

Day 7:  The Incomparable Jesus
Because nothing compares to Jesus, He stands
alone in His glory and power. Jesus, please help
me to remember there is truly none like You!

Scripture: Revelation 5:2-5

Want to know more about Fasting?

The goal of fasting is to draw nearer to God. Biblical fasting always has to do with eliminating distractions for a spiritual purpose; it hits the reset button of our soul and renews us from the inside out. It also enables us to celebrate the goodness and mercy of God and prepares our hearts for all the good things God desires to bring into our lives. Remember, your personal fast should present a level of challenge, but it is very important to know your body, your options, and, most importantly, to seek God in prayer and follow what the Holy Spirit leads you to do.
